A 4-day intensive for leaders who keep hitting the same ceiling

Next cohort: April 2026 Format: Online, live sessions Size: 8-12 leaders

You've built real success. You've put in the work. But something keeps getting in the way - and it's not your strategy, your market, or your team.

Breaking the Pattern is for founders and executives who recognize that their biggest blocker isn't external - it's internal. And they're ready to address it.

  • Break through plateaus that strategy alone can't solve

  • Build leadership capacity that scales with the business

  • Create sustainable high performance - without burnout

The problem no one talks about

There's a gap in leadership development. We have frameworks for strategy, execution, fundraising, and hiring. But no one addresses the deeper patterns that cause leaders to repeat the same mistakes — despite knowing better.

These aren't knowledge problems. They're pattern problems:

The Plateau

You hit the same revenue ceiling across different ventures. You've tried new strategies, new markets, new teams. The external factors change, but the ceiling remains.

The Sabotage

Things start going well — then you make a decision that undermines it. In hindsight, it doesn't make sense. But in the moment, it felt inevitable.

The Conflict

Different co-founders, investors, or executives — same dynamics. Trust breaks down in familiar ways. Communication patterns repeat.

The Burnout

You push harder than necessary. You can't delegate. You tie your worth to output. Rest feels like failure. The business grows, but at a cost.

A different approach to leadership development

Most executive coaching works at the surface: behaviors, habits, communication skills. That's valuable, but it doesn't address root causes.

Breaking the Pattern works at the source. We use evidence-based methods to identify why certain patterns persist - and what actually shifts them. This isn't theory. It's applied work with immediate business impact.

The methodology draws on organizational psychology, behavioral science, and 15+ years of working with founders and leadership teams navigating growth, conflict, and transformation.

The result: Leaders who make different decisions - not because they're trying harder, but because they've resolved the internal blocks that were driving the old patterns.

The four-day program

We work on four dimensions of leadership effectiveness - each building on the last. The program combines teaching, diagnostic exercises, facilitated breakthroughs, and peer work.

Day 1

Diagnosis

Map your recurring patterns. Identify the triggers, the behaviors, and the costs. Understand why willpower and awareness haven't been enough to change them.

Day 3

Strategic Clarity

With internal blocks addressed, reassess your direction. Are you building what you should be building? Do you have authentic alignment between your strengths and your opportunity?

Day 2

Root Cause

Go beneath the surface. Identify the beliefs and mental models driving your patterns. Understand where they came from and why they made sense - until now.

Day 4

Sustainable Performance

Build the practices and systems that make the shift stick. Design your operating rhythm for high performance without burnout. Leave with a concrete 90-day plan.

Inside each day

Day 1: Diagnosis

The question: What patterns keep showing up - and what are they actually costing you?

Most leaders know they have patterns. Fewer have mapped them precisely. Day 1 creates clarity on exactly what's happening, when it gets triggered, and what the business impact has been.

You'll work on:

  • The Pattern Inventory - documenting recurring challenges across your career

  • Trigger mapping - identifying the situations that activate old behaviors

  • Cost analysis - quantifying the business and personal impact

  • The Leadership Ceiling Assessment - where are you operating below potential?

You'll leave Day 1 with: A clear map of your top 2-3 patterns and their measurable cost to your business and life.

Day 2: Root Cause

The question: Why do these patterns persist - even when you know better?

Patterns don't persist because you're weak or unaware. They persist because they're serving something - often a belief or mental model that made sense in an earlier context but now holds you back. Day 2 identifies the source.

You'll work on:

  • Belief archaeology - uncovering the mental models driving your patterns

  • The origin story - understanding where these beliefs came from

  • The payoff analysis - what has the pattern been protecting or providing?

  • Facilitated breakthrough work - resolving blocks at the root, not the symptom

You'll leave Day 2 with: Understanding of why your patterns exist and direct experience of what shifts them.

Day 3: Strategic Clarity

The question: Now that you're less blocked - what should you actually be building?

Many leaders are executing on strategies that were shaped by their limitations. With internal blocks addressed, it's time to reassess. Day 3 examines alignment between who you are and what you're building.

You'll work on:

  • Strengths-Opportunity Alignment - are you positioned to win?

  • The Authentic Direction Assessment - is this yours to build?

  • Decision audit - which strategic choices were driven by patterns vs. clarity?

  • Experiment design - testing new directions with low-risk, high-learning moves

You'll leave Day 3 with: Strategic clarity on your direction and 2-3 experiments to run in the next 90 days.

Day 4: Sustainable Performance

The question: How do you make this last - and perform at your best without burning out?

Insight fades. Breakthroughs revert. Day 4 builds the systems and practices that make the shift sustainable. You'll design an operating rhythm that supports high performance long-term.

You'll work on:

  • Practice architecture - daily, weekly, monthly rhythms for sustained performance

  • Early warning system - recognizing when old patterns are re-emerging

  • Energy management - designing for sustainable output, not just maximum output

  • The 90-day plan - concrete actions, milestones, and accountability structures

  • Peer partner matching - ongoing support from someone who's done the same work

You'll leave Day 4 with: A complete 90-day implementation plan, a peer accountability partner, and practices designed for your specific situation.
